This 5 day trek is recommended for those who want to see the entire Pati Valley (Vale do Pati). You are in very good physical shape to face some challenges: steep climbs and descents, taking off your shoes to cross rivers, climbing some rocks, walking long distances.

Your guide may need to change the itinerary based on weather conditions. Some parts can get very tricky or even dangerous. This description is written for trekking in normal weather conditions.

Overnight in local natives’ houses. This is an adventure in itself. Your guide knows the natives well and puts you in touch with them. You sleep in a modest and clean bedroom.

The breakfast buffet and the evening buffet are always delicious! Since the locals are sustainable themselves, they make their own bread, cakes, juices, tea, etc. They only use vegetables from their own garden.

In the high season there are always other groups of tourists in the valley and it is nice to tell stories about your hiking experiences. In the low season it can happen that we are the only group staying in the houses.
